The Vonage Developer Relations Team attended Dreamforce 2024, showcasing the latest innovations in Salesforce's CRM product and participating in mini hacks, a signature event where attendees compete to show their skills by completing coding challenges from companies and partners. The team was present in the Mini-Hack area, helping participants complete a hack using the Vonage Video API to build an app that mimics real-world scenarios such as telehealth, which requires real-time video/audio connections between patients and doctors. A GitHub Repo is available for those who couldn't attend the conference, allowing them to build and deploy a video calling application using Vonage Video Web Components, eliminating the need to host and maintain infrastructure. The hack was designed to be copied and pasted, making it accessible to developers of all skill sets, and uses pre-built solutions ready to be deployed to Vonage's serverless platform.
