Announcing Vonage Virtual CSP for Network APIs

The Virtual Communication Service Provider (CSP) is a new service provided by Vonage that allows developers to test Network APIs even when they are unavailable in their country, by directing API requests with specific phone numbers to the Virtual CSP. The Virtual CSP provides deterministic and predefined responses for API requests using phone numbers starting with +990 prefix. To use the Virtual CSP, developers simply need to create an application in the dashboard, select "Sandbox" under Network API capabilities box, and make API calls with phone numbers starting with +990 prefix. The behavior of the Virtual CSP is defined by input parameters in the API request, including different ranges or specific phone number endings. Developers can test various scenarios using the Virtual CSP, including error cases, and provide feedback through Vonage's Community Slack or X messaging channels.
