Announcing Vonage Network APIs - Available Now

Vonage has introduced several new Network APIs at Mobile World Congress, allowing developers to unlock advanced features of communications service providers' networks beyond just SMS and Voice. These APIs empower developers with innovative network capabilities by harnessing mobile networks, including 5G, and guarantee a smooth customer experience while maximizing application flexibility and portability. The Vonage Network APIs are built following CAMARA standards and include two key APIs: Number Verification, which provides hassle-free authentication using mobile data connections, and SIM Swap, which strengthens SIM-based authentication methods to boost security against fraudsters. To access the APIs, developers must pre-register through the Vonage Network Registry, a simplified service that provides industry-first access to Vonage network APIs across all supported networks.
