One Year of WebRTC Go: Highlights, Updates, and a Special Announcement on Quota Increases
Twilio has launched WebRTC Go, a toolkit that makes it easier for developers to get started with WebRTC. The tool allows developers to build 1:1 video applications in production for free, with unlimited TURN usage and up to 500 concurrent participants or rooms. Since its launch, the developer community has been actively building applications using WebRTC Go, including audio-only applications, virtual assistants, and virtual coworking sessions. Twilio has also made several updates and improvements to the toolkit, including new tools for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and debugging, as well as virtual backgrounds and chat support. The company is excited about the interest from the developer community around WebRTC Go and looks forward to learning more about the various use cases it will support in the future.
