Twilio Live is Now Generally Available
Twilio Live, a platform for developers to create live interactive experiences within their applications, has been made generally available. The service provides a low-latency, secure streaming platform that supports large audiences and offers an intuitive end-to-end developer experience with server-side API primitives and client SDKs for iOS, Android, and JavaScript. Since launching in Private Beta in July, developers have used Twilio Live to create virtual shopping experiences, auctions, concerts, comedy shows, sporting events, and fitness classes. The platform is built on four main components: a Twilio Video Room, a livestream created by a Media Extension, a PlayerStreamer, and a Player SDK.
