Announcing General Availability of Authy Desktop for Linux
Twilio Authy has announced the General Availability of Authy Desktop for Linux. The application was launched in 2017 for MacOS and Windows as stand-alone applications, followed by a beta version for Linux in early 2020. After careful review and adjustments based on utilization and feedback, it is now ready for General Availability. Supported Linux distributions include Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Debian, and Manjaro (with known text display issues after logging out of Authy). Other distributions may work but have not been tested as of this publication. For more information on system requirements and installation instructions, visit the Authy app page on Snapcraft.
