How to Build Streaming Applications with Superblocks and Confluent Cloud

Confluent Cloud offers a fully managed cloud-native Apache Kafka service for building real-time data pipelines and event-driven applications. However, building applications to harness the power of streaming has historically been complex due to novel concepts and protocols. Superblocks simplifies this process by allowing developers to build real-time applications on top of Confluent without requiring streaming expertise. In a tutorial, it is demonstrated how easy it is to create a vehicle logistics tracking application using Superblocks that connects to a Kafka cluster running on Confluent Cloud. The app consists of backend and frontend components, with the backend consuming messages from Confluent and updating the frontend state variable for each message. The frontend displays the vehicle data in a table and map component, allowing end users to track the location of each vehicle live. With Confluent Cloud and Superblocks, businesses can efficiently operationalize streaming data and surface real-time insights to business users.
