Supabase Beta December 2021

In December, Supabase released several new features and updates, including the addition of pg_sodium as an extension in all Postgres instances for encryption, decryption, hashing, and cryptographic signing. They also added tutorial videos on calling Postgres functions from JavaScript with RPC, invoking any external HTTP endpoint from Postgres functions, and creating Postgres functions with Supabase. Additionally, they announced new hirings across various roles and shared updates about their community's activity, such as Divjoy integration and n8n adding a Supabase node. They also released updated Python libraries and reminded users of their GitHub presence, Twitter account, TikTok channel, YouTube channel, and Swag Store.
