Supabase Storage now in Beta

Supabase Storage has released its Beta version, introducing new features such as streaming media support and public buckets for hosting assets in web or mobile applications. It also added directory uploads, a policy editor for Postgres Row Level Security (RLS), and compatibility with local development environments without additional setup. The update also includes performance improvements for large buckets and API changes like the addition of upsert functionality. Supabase Storage is now being used by several production applications, and future plans include implementing a Content Delivery Network and basic transformation support for media files.
