Introducing fraud calibration and Trust Index for Plaid Identity Verification

Plaid has introduced new features to its Identity Verification system, including fraud calibration, granular machine learning-powered scores for evaluating verification funnel aspects, and an overall user score called the Plaid Trust Index. The redesigned fraud labeling system allows businesses to easily mark sessions as fraud or not fraud in one click, improving risk model precision with machine learning-driven scores. The latest update introduces 11 new machine learning-driven scores for a deeper understanding of risk factors and consolidates all verification data into a single Trust Index number. These features aim to help businesses onboard more users while effectively fighting fraud across the entire customer journey.
