ngrok in production: Not just for testing anymore

What's this blog post about?

ngrok reenters the picture as a full-time operator in your application or API, managing HTTPS calls to your API and effectively integrating any authenticated remote application with your local microservices application at a granular level. With ngrok, using their ingress controller or API gateway, it replaces all of those things, providing the load balancing as well as both gateways, so you don’t have to set them up. Ngrok's authentication functionality and security policies are handled by a managed service outside the network called ngrok Edge. Installing ngrok as an ingress controller happens by means of the Helm Kubernetes Package Manager, using credentials obtained from the ngrok Dashboard service. This approach enables easy implementation and coordination with a service mesh, allowing services to be accessible to the ngrok API gateway through the routes ngrok automatically sets up.
