Let Claude Manage Your Neon Databases: Our MCP Server is Here

Anthropic has introduced an open protocol called Model Context Protocol (MCP) that enables Language Learning Models (LLMs) to integrate more easily with external data sources and tools. Neon, a platform for developers, has already created an MCP server that is open source and available today. This integration allows AI agents like Claude to interact with Neon's platform using its API. The initial release of the project includes actions such as list_projects, describe_project, create_project, delete_project, create_branch, delete_branch, describe_branch, run_sql, run_sql_transaction, get_database_tables, describe_table_schema, start_database_migration, and commit_database_migration. The project is still in development, and feedback is welcome on their GitHub repository and Discord server.
