Introducing DRM: The latest tool in protecting your content on Mux
Mux introduces Digital Rights Management (DRM) as an additional layer of content security for video content streamed from their platform. DRM leverages industry-standard protocols such as Google Widevine, Microsoft PlayReady, and Apple FairPlay to block or limit the impact of screen recording, screen sharing, and downloading tools. The new feature is currently in beta and requires signed URLs, domain restrictions, and user-agent restrictions for effective implementation. Mux DRM is compatible with a wide range of devices, players, and platforms outside of their player. Pricing starts at $0.006 per license, with discounts available for high volumes.
