Announcing our $10M seed round led by Benchmark

LangChain, a Python package aimed at helping developers build applications using language models through composability, has raised $10 million in seed funding. The company plans to invest aggressively in the groundbreaking work being done by the community in building intelligent apps. LangChain is designed with the objective principles of being data-aware and agentic, offering a modular set of abstractions and components that provide everything developers need to build applications using language models. Future plans include bringing TypeScript package up to feature parity with Python, implementing OutputParsers, introducing Retriever abstraction, and building integrations with solutions like Weights & Biases, AIM, ClearML for more observability and experimentation with LLM applications. LangChain will continue to be open-source and focused on developers.
