Introducing Incident Types
Incident types, conditional fields, and roles have been introduced in incident.io to improve incident response flows across organizations. This feature allows users to configure a set of incident types as templates for different types of incidents, enabling customization of core incident configuration. Custom fields and roles can now be configured by incident type, reducing noise for other incidents. Automation, severities, and privacy settings have also been enhanced with the support of incident types. Insights can now be filtered by incident type to focus on specific teams or groups.
