Fly in 2020 - a Year in Features (and Articles)
In 2020, Fly launched its Global Application Platform and introduced various features throughout the year. These included Turboku for faster Heroku apps, Custom Domains with GraphQL API, One-Click Imaginary for image processing services, Deno support, Scale system improvements, GoStatic for static websites, built-in builders for Flyctl, persistent volumes on Fly, a new logging system, and 6PN Private Networking. The company also added WireGuard peering, graceful shutdown options for VMs, and revised VM sizes. In December, they demonstrated how to deploy Redis, MinIO, Gogs, MQTT, Node-Red, and Redis with TLS using persistent volumes.
