EdgeDB 1.0 Alpha 5 “Luhman”

EdgeDB 1.0 Alpha 5 "Luhman" is an advanced open source relational database based on PostgreSQL that aims to provide a highly efficient and productive database technology while addressing the shortcomings of SQL and its surrounding ecosystem. This release introduces several improvements, including simplified administration with named instances, support for "upserts", type-level constraints, casts from JSON to array and tuple types, transaction blocks in the JavaScript client, and GraphQL improvements. Additionally, stored migrations are coming soon.
