DragonflyDB 2022 In Review

In 2022, Dragonfly emerged as a new technology and database project, leading to the founding of DragonflyDB company. The initial codebase aimed at creating an in-memory datastore more performant and scalable than Redis. By December, Dragonfly had evolved into a real product supporting various use cases with over 16,000 GitHub stars, 41 contributors, and a growing Discord community. Additionally, the company expanded to include nine employees from four countries speaking seven languages. The team is looking forward to more growth and success in 2023.
