DigitalOcean has introduced dedicated virtual machines (Dedicated Droplets) for its Managed MongoDB service to provide developers with more control over their database performance and predictability. The new options, General Purpose MongoDB and Storage Optimized MongoDB, offer different levels of computing power and storage capacity tailored to specific business needs. Pricing remains simple and competitive, starting at $15 per month for a Basic plan, with General Purpose beginning at $115 per month and Storage Optimized Droplets starting at $240 per month. These new options are available in all existing DigitalOcean regions.
