Cloudways to join DigitalOcean

DigitalOcean, a leading managed cloud hosting and SaaS provider for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has announced its intention to acquire Cloudways, a trusted partner since 2014. The acquisition aims to enhance DigitalOcean's ability to serve small business owners at every stage of their business journey, regardless of technical skill level. By adding Cloudways to its portfolio, SMBs will benefit from easier workflows and on-ramps for building websites and applications. DigitalOcean has always been focused on helping businesses get ideas online quickly, grow them, and scale them. The acquisition is expected to close in September, with the Cloudways team remaining a standalone business unit led by co-founder and CEO Aaqib Gadit.
