Test driving the new CQL utility
The Cassandra Query Language (CQL) is a significant feature of the NoSQL database, Cassandra, that deserves more recognition. CQL resembles SQL, making it easier for former or current RDBMS developers and administrators to adapt to Cassandra. With recent updates, the CQL shell now provides version information, built-in help, and auto-completion for keywords and commands. The direction of the Cassandra community is towards making CQL the primary interface into the database, with new enhancements in the CQL utility making it even more user-friendly.
