Accelerate your Cassandra development and automation with the Astra CLI

The new DataStax Astra Command Line Interface (CLI) has been released to provide a convenient way for Apache Cassandra developers using DataStax Astra DB to manage their resources through scripts or in their local terminal. It covers various capabilities, including creating or resuming databases, checking the status of streaming tenants, and running queries. The CLI is beneficial for DevOps engineers as it streamlines automation scripts and can be incorporated into CI/CD processes. It leverages Astra DB's REST-based DevOps API to manage, configure, and operate Astra DB. The Astra CLI is self-documented and supports installation on MAC, Linux, and Windows systems. Future updates will include support for more package managers, security configurations, and configuration options for Change Data Capture (CDC).
