DataStax Enterprise Java Driver: 1.0.0 released!

The DataStax Enterprise Java Driver 1.0.0 is a standalone project built on top of the "core" driver, supporting additional features provided by DSE 5.0 such as Unified Authentication, Geospatial types, and Graph. It introduces dedicated Cluster and Session wrappers (DseCluster and DseSession) with added capabilities. The legacy driver extensions for DSE are deprecated in favor of this new driver. For clients connecting to a DSE cluster secured with DSE Unified Authentication, two authentication providers are included. DataStax Enterprise 5.0 comes with additional types to represent geospatial data and supports both CQL and Gremlin query languages for interacting with standard Cassandra tables and DSE Graph respectively. The driver is available from Maven Central and documentation can be found at specific locations.
