Announcing RPMs for Cassandra

Apache Cassandra now supports debian packaging in its tree, making it more accessible to users of RPM-based distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Fedora. Previously, these users had to create their own packages or use binary tarballs. Riptano has contributed RPM builds of Apache Cassandra to the community, aiming to make it easier for everyone to use and manage. To get started with these packages, follow the provided steps.
