Monitor Akka-based applications with Lightbend + Datadog

Lightbend and Datadog have announced an official integration for Akka, a popular tool for building highly scalable Reactive applications on the JVM. This integration works via Lightbend Monitoring's metrics/telemetry module (Cinnamon), which instruments Akka-based Reactive applications and reports metrics to Datadog. The telemetry includes metrics for Akka Actors and Akka Remote, providing users with real-time insights into the health, availability, and performance of their applications. Multiple configuration options allow users to control monitoring overhead and data volume. This integration is part of Lightbend's Reactive Platform and available to subscription customers only.
