Monitor Google Cloud Run with Datadog

Google Cloud Run is a new compute platform that enables running stateless containers without managing the underlying infrastructure. It offers two options: fully managed version of Cloud Run and managing existing clusters with Cloud Run for Anthos, which operates containerized workloads consistently across various environments. Deployment in Cloud Run is simple, requiring only specifying a container image along with settings such as environment variables, memory limits, and concurrency. Datadog is a launch partner for Cloud Run and Cloud Run for Anthos, providing visibility for customers adopting serverless container workloads in Google Cloud. The integration of Cloud Run with Datadog allows users to monitor the performance of their container workloads, including latency and request counts, as well as CPU and memory resources used by their code. It also supports hybrid infrastructure, offering comprehensive visibility into both on-premise and cloud-based clusters.
