Monitor Datazoom telemetry with Datadog

Modern video streaming workflows consist of various services such as encoders, origins, ad servers, and content delivery networks (CDNs). Datazoom collects event-level data across these components and standardizes it into JSON format. Integration with Datadog allows users to visualize, analyze, and alert on this data in real time. The integration provides a centralized view of video workflow health and performance metrics like Time to First Frame (TTFF) and Rebuffer Ratios. It also enables correlation between playback data and upstream service performance for troubleshooting issues. Datadog collects Datazoom logs, which are enriched with tags for contextual information. The platform supports monitoring of Datazoom telemetry alongside over 650 other services and technologies, providing an end-to-end view of the entire video workflow.
