Introducing Live Process monitoring in Datadog

Datadog introduces Live Process view, enabling open-ended debugging and inventory management for massive distributed systems. This feature allows users to query all running processes, filter and group them using tags, and drill in to see process-level system metrics at two-second granularity. By monitoring infrastructure at the process level, users can identify resource-constrained hosts and troubleshoot issues caused by specific processes. Live Process view also supports intelligent aggregation and filtering, enabling efficient exploration of large numbers of processes across cloud deployments or data centers. Additionally, it provides a visualization of process trees within containers for better management and tuning of container fleets.
