Autodiscover Confluent Cloud connectors and easily monitor performance in Data Streams Monitoring

Confluent Cloud is a Kafka-as-a-service solution that simplifies the deployment and operation of Kafka clusters. Datadog has expanded its integration with Confluent Cloud to provide autodiscovery of connectors, enabling users to monitor connector throughput and status within the context of their end-to-end streaming data pipelines. This new feature allows teams to identify bottlenecks or other performance problems proactively and ensure continuous flow of data through these pipelines. By visualizing Confluent Cloud connectors in Data Streams Monitoring (DSM), users can gain full contextual awareness of their pipeline's topology, including end-to-end telemetry for its components, enabling them to better detect upstream root causes and downstream impacts of pipeline issues.
