Find and remediate identity risks with Datadog CIEM

Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems are crucial in securing environments but their mismanagement often leads to breaches and insider threats. Datadog has introduced Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM), a new feature of its Cloud Security Management (CSM). This enables users to proactively identify and remediate identity and access risks in AWS environments, with support for other cloud providers planned. Datadog CIEM uses best practices and research to detect and prioritize IAM-based risks such as administrative privileges, permissions gaps, large blast radius, privilege escalation, and cross-account access. It provides detailed descriptions of issues and suggested remediation steps, along with advanced insights for each identified risk. Datadog CIEM is now generally available for AWS users, with documentation and a 14-day free trial available.
