Dash 2021: Guide to Datadog’s newest announcements

At Dash 2021, new products and features were announced to enhance visibility into the health and performance of code, databases, CI/CD pipelines, and more. These include Network Device Monitoring for infrastructure and network monitoring, Universal Service Monitoring for SREs and developers, Database Monitoring for deep insights into database performance, and expanded support for Continuous Profiler. Additionally, new features were introduced in RUM such as Session Replay, Funnel Analysis, Watchdog Insights for RUM, and iOS Error Tracking. Synthetic Monitoring was also expanded to include UDP and WebSocket tests. Online Archives, Sensitive Data Scanner, and Log Anomaly Detection were added to the log management ecosystem. Datadog Observability Pipelines and Apps enable users to control their observability data and integrate third-party tools into the platform. CI Visibility was released for deep insights into CI/CD workflows, while mobile dashboard widgets and integration with GitHub repositories were introduced for enhanced user experience. Cloud Cost Management was launched to help manage cloud costs, and Serverless view was expanded to include Azure App Service resources. SLO Alerts were added to proactively notify users about potential service failures.
