Introducing Apache Kafka® 3.9

Apache Kafka has released version 3.9.0, marking the final major release in the 3.x line that features deprecated Apache ZooKeeper® mode. The new version introduces dynamic quorum membership for KRaft controller nodes, allowing administrators to add and remove them without downtime. It also includes improvements to Tiered Storage and Kafka Streams, as well as enhancements to Kafka Connect. This release is a community effort with contributions from numerous developers.
