Coder Release Channels and Schedule
A Meetup is being hosted at the Austin Office, with interested attendees or speakers encouraged to reach out. The event will take place on September 24th, 2024. In regards to Coder deployment upgrades, a new release process has been introduced that establishes a strict monthly release date and separates new versions into mainline and stable release channels. Mainline releases are intended for OSS community users and enterprise users with staging deployments who want the latest features, while stable releases are designed for large enterprises with little tolerance for fault. Both release types will be supported in patching major bugs, security vulnerabilities, and regressions for two months.
