Coder v1.28 has been released
On September 24th, a Meetup will take place at the Austin Office. Interested attendees or speakers should express their interest. Coder 1.28 is now available for installation or upgrade, featuring TUN device support, improved autostart settings, and onboarding improvements. The new version introduces support for TUN devices inside CVMs, enabling the use of VPNs or developer tools like Tailscale and Telepresence. Additionally, a new field called autostart_at has been added to the users API endpoint to display workspace auto-start times set by users. New users are now prompted to link their Git accounts upon sign-in for an improved onboarding experience. A single access URL is introduced for both primary and satellite deployments, simplifying user access. Lastly, users can obtain their OIDC access token from the CLI after authenticating with Coder. Subscribers will receive updates via a monthly newsletter.
