What's On CloudFlare's Mind
What's this blog post about?
On May 2, 2011, at 10:02 PM, Matthew Prince from CloudFlare reported that they observed a significant increase in search traffic related to Osama bin Laden's death. Prior to President Obama's address, around 1.5% of searches contained the term "Osama," up from nearly zero in the previous 24 hours. A second peak occurred after Obama finished speaking. The graph illustrates the spike in search traffic for "Osama" and a more steady stream of searches for "Obama."
