What’s new with Cloudflare for SaaS?
Cloudflare has announced new customizations for its SSL for SaaS product aimed at enterprise customers. These include Apex Proxying, which allows SaaS providers to allocate a dedicated set of IPs for their customers when CNAME records do not work; Bring Your Own IPs (BYOIP), allowing customers to bring their own IP range for Cloudflare to announce at its edge; Custom Origin Support, enabling SaaS providers to choose a custom origin that is not the default fallback origin for any of their Custom Hostnames; and Wildcard Support, extending the Custom Hostname's configuration from a specific hostname to the next level of subdomains. Additionally, new TLS management features include CSR Support/Custom Certificates, allowing customers to upload their own certificates or generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) for their Custom Hostnames; and Custom Metadata, enabling customization of configuration rules for customer domains using Workers.
