Toronto, Canada: CloudFlare's 18th Data Center

CloudFlare has expanded its global network by launching a new data center in Toronto, Canada. This expansion aims to improve performance for users across Canada and take load away from existing facilities in Chicago and Newark. The company's co-founder, Michelle Zatlyn, who is Canadian, played a significant role in shaping CloudFlare's user-friendly interface and focus on product quality. Additionally, she works towards ensuring a healthy internet ecosystem through her involvement with the United States Federal Communication Commission's Open Internet Advisory Committee. The company plans to open five more facilities across Europe and Asia in the coming days.
