Node.js support in Cloudflare Workers
On April 16, 2021, Cloudflare announced its support for Node.js on its Workers platform. This integration allows developers to create entire applications using only JavaScript, with the code running across Cloudflare's data centers in over 100 countries. Currently, more than 20k packages are supported by Workers, including popular ones like node-jose for encryption and itty-router for routing. The platform plans to increase worker sizes and support native APIs in the future. Cloudflare is also seeking user input on which libraries/APIs should be prioritized for compatibility with Node.js.
