Logs on R2: slash your logging costs
Cloudflare has announced that its enterprise customers can now use Logpush to store logs on R2, a low-cost object storage service. This feature is particularly useful for storing raw logs from Cloudflare products, which are used by customers for debugging performance issues, investigating security incidents, and maintaining compliance with security standards. With R2's low costs, the decision of whether to keep necessary logs or manage tight budgets becomes easier for customers. The example provided in the text shows that using R2 leads to 86% savings compared to Amazon S3. Additionally, Cloudflare is working on improving log retrieval and plans to build out more advanced Logpush features with a focus on customization.
