How the US paused shopping (and browsing) for Thanksgiving
On Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2021, US internet traffic experienced a significant slowdown during the time of the traditional dinner, between 16:00 and 20:00 EST. Mobile traffic also increased during Thanksgiving week, representing 54% of US internet traffic on November 25th, compared to the usual 46%. Cloudflare Radar provides insights into these trends and can be used to monitor global and country-specific internet traffic patterns.
