Gateway + CASB: alphabetti spaghetti that spells better SaaS security

In June 2022, Cloudflare announced a feature that allows users of its Zero Trust platform to create prefilled HTTP policies in Cloudflare Gateway using issues identified by CASB, a new product designed to connect, scan, and monitor SaaS apps for security issues. The integration between Cloudflare's API-driven CASB and Gateway enables IT administrators to easily block identified threats with just three clicks. This feature helps organizations address common pain points such as Shadow IT and file exposure in the cloud era by providing visibility into security issues affecting SaaS apps like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and GitHub. The integration of Gateway and CASB allows admins to create fine-grained policies that prevent specific inappropriate behavior while still allowing for expected access and usage that meets company policy.
