Cloudflare Global Network Spans 137 Cities: Launching Durban and Port Louis Data Centers
Cloudflare, a company that provides content delivery network services and DDoS mitigation, has expanded its network to 137 cities globally with new data centers in Durban (South Africa) and Port Louis (Mauritius). The expansion aims to improve the performance and security of over 7 million Internet properties across 69 countries. In March alone, Cloudflare launched new data centers in various cities including Beirut, Phnom Penh, Kathmandu, Istanbul, Reykjavík, Riyadh, Macau, Baghdad, Houston, Indianapolis, Montgomery, Pittsburgh, Sacramento, Mexico City and Tel Aviv. The company plans to add several more Africa data centers in the second half of 2018.
