Buildkite, a DevOps company, has raised $28 million AUD from OpenView and General Catalyst at a valuation of $200 million AUD. The funding will be used to expand the company's reach in the market. Joining the board are Jean-Michel Lemieux (CTO at Shopify) and Ashley Smith (CRO at Gatsby), who bring extensive industry experience and developer community building skills. Buildkite, a profitable business with sustainable growth, was founded seven years ago by Keith Pitt, Tim Lucas, and Sam Stephenson. The company aims to help software teams move faster and be more productive through its CI/CD tool.
