BuildBuddy v1.2.1 Release Notes
BuildBuddy v1.2.1 has been released for both Cloud Hosted BuildBuddy and open source via Github and Docker. This release includes improvements based on user feedback, such as better profiling and timing information to help users track down slow builds. The focus of this release was on expanding access to BuildBuddy, improving scalability, and performance. Additionally, the free tier for BuildBuddy Cloud has been expanded, now being free for teams of up to 3 engineers in addition to being free for individuals open source projects of any size. New features include official BuildBuddy Helm charts, build metadata support, GitHub commit status publishing, improved cache hit rate, and new guides in the documentation. For Cloud & Enterprise BuildBuddy, there are updates such as BuildBuddy Cloud being free for teams of up to 3 engineers, a rewritten distributed Remote Build Execution scheduler, remote asset API support, organization configuration options, configurable anonymous access, and S3 cache support.
