National Doctors’ Day

National Doctors' Day is celebrated annually on March 30th in the U.S., honoring doctors for their hard work and dedication to patient care. The holiday was first observed in Winder, Georgia in 1933 by Eudora Brown Almond, who sent cards to physicians and placed red carnations on the graves of deceased doctors. National Doctors' Day became an official U.S. holiday in 1991. People celebrate this day by expressing gratitude to their doctors through letters, luncheons, or social media posts using #NationalDoctorsDay.
