Connectors & docs: Deep dive into InstantSearch.js | Algolia

In November 2015, InstantSearch.js v1 was released to provide an efficient way to build search UIs. The feedback has been positive with over 1600 GitHub stars, 600 upvotes on Product Hunt, and 1700 live implementations. Over the last 18 months, the developers have learned from user feedback, experience creating other libraries, and internal usage of those same libraries. They have used this knowledge to improve InstantSearch.js v2, which includes changes such as a new API for precisely controlling the rendering of widgets, a redesigned documentation layout with getting started tutorials, guides, and an improved API reference. The latest version is available now, and users are encouraged to provide feedback through GitHub issues or the Algolia forum.
