DevBit #1 Recap

The Algolia DevBit livestream series is a quarterly event where the Algolia Engineering team shares updates and best practices with developers. In the March 2023 event, new pricing plans were discussed, along with the private beta of Algolia NeuralSearch. Product Manager Keshia Rose demonstrated how to use no-code data connectors for pulling JSON or CSV data from applications. Senior Engineer Jose-Paul Dominguez explained the evolution of Algolia's service architecture and its impact on features like NeuralSearch. Principal Product Manager Dustin Coates provided an update on Algolia NeuralSearch, a combined keyword and hashtag vector search experience, and announced the waitlist for developers to join the private beta. Lastly, CTO Sean Mullaney introduced the Build plan, which provides access to all of Algolia's platform capabilities without requiring a credit card.
