Building a store locator in React: Part 1 | Algolia

In this article, the author outlines the steps to build a Store Locator using React and Algolia. The Store Locator is designed to help ecommerce shoppers find the nearest store for offline testing or purchasing, as well as picking up online purchases in-store. The guide is divided into three parts, with the first part focusing on setting up accounts with Clever Cloud and Algolia, indexing data, configuring searchable attributes, and installing necessary dependencies such as Tailwind CSS and CRACO tool. In the upcoming sessions, the author will cover implementing Algolia GeoSearch and displaying results on a map using Mapbox GL.
