Bigger Aiven for Apache Kafka® plans and introducing Amazon VPC peering
Aiven has introduced larger 32GB and 64GB plan tiers to its Aiven for Apache Kafka offerings, with increased core counts and memory available in Business and Premium Kafka plans across Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and UpCloud regions. The company also added support for Confluent's Kafka Schema Registry, which allows users to store their Kafka message descriptions in a centralized registry. Additionally, Aiven has launched support for Amazon Web Services Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) peering, enabling users to link Aiven services directly into their own VPC networks and access the services with private IP addresses as if they were in the same network.
