Aiven for PostgreSQL now available

Aiven has launched its next-generation cloud database service platform, Aiven for PostgreSQL 9.5, which is now available on Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services. The service is billed by the hour and takes care of database maintenance tasks, allowing users to focus on their applications and business. Users can launch databases in minutes with backups and fault tolerance automatically handled. A suitable plan can be selected based on actual service usage, and users can access the service through a web console or command line client. The company plans to expand its supported cloud providers to include DigitalOcean and UpCloud in the coming weeks.
